Refund & Cancellation Policy

We keep our refund policy simple and fair. Because our classes are small and seats are limited, the rules below help us hold your spot while giving you flexibility if your plans change. By enrolling, you agree to this policy.
Your Deposit Reserves Your Seat
For classes that require one, the enrollment deposit holds your seat and is non-refundable. The good news: it's fully transferable. If your plans change, we'll move your deposit to a later start date of the same class — just let us know before your class begins.
The Remaining Balance
- More than 7 days before your start date: the remaining balance (everything beyond the deposit) is fully refundable. Cancel and we'll refund the balance to your original payment method.
- Within 7 days of your start date: the balance is transferable to a future class as a credit, but is not available as a cash refund. We hold the seat for you and can't always fill it on short notice.
No-Shows
If you don't attend and haven't contacted us in advance to reschedule, the deposit and any paid balance are forfeited. If something comes up, reach out as early as you can — we'll do our best to help you reschedule.
Waitlists
Joining a waitlist is free. You are not charged until a seat is confirmed and you accept it. If you decline an offered seat, no charge is made and you stay on the list for the next available date if you'd like.
Group Bookings
Group enrollments (including our 4+ student group discount) follow the same deposit, refund, and transfer rules per student. If one member of a group cancels, the rules apply to that individual's deposit and balance; the rest of the group is unaffected.
Private & Corporate Bookings
Private 1:1 lessons and corporate or private events are arranged on a quote basis and may have custom cancellation terms due to scheduling, staffing, and setup commitments. Those terms are provided in writing at the time of booking and take precedence over the standard rules above for those events.
How Refunds Are Issued
Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method via our processor, Stripe. Depending on your bank, it can take several business days for the funds to appear.
If We Cancel a Class
On the rare occasion that we have to cancel or reschedule a class (for example, due to low enrollment or instructor illness), you'll be offered a transfer to another date or a full refund, including your deposit — your choice.
